TRICARE Evaluation, Analysis, and Management Support (TEAMS) IDIQ:
IMSGS is one of twenty three prime contractors on the TEAMS contract, a $5 billion IDIQ that
runs through 2017. TEAMS supports
all components of the MHS, including military treatment facilities (MTFs) and clinics; the
TRICARE Management Activity (TMA); activities conducting
joint DoD/Veterans’ Affairs initiatives that directly impact the DoD health arena; and other DoD
activities with an impact on the healthcare missions of DoD.
There are nine major task areas under
TEAMS:
Area 1: Program Management Support Services;
Area 2: Studies and Analysis;
Area 3: Performance Based Budgeting / Financial Management;
Area 4: Business Process Improvement;
Area 5: Functional Validation and Verification;
Area 6: Records Management;
Area 7: Information Management;
Area 8: Acquisition Management; and
Area 9: Logistical Support.

CMS Review of Provider Medicaid Integrity Contractor (ROP MIC) Contract:
IMSGS is a prime contractor under the ROP MIC contract, an IDIQ used by CMS to strengthen
Medicaid’s program integrity and deter fraud, waste, and abuse by providers who use
Medicaid for reimbursement of medical services rendered. Through task orders issued under
the ROP MIC, IMSGS provides teams of data analysts and subject matter experts who apply
advanced algorithms to identify anomalies in claims data submitted by providers to federal
payer systems. The team submits findings reports to CMS, which then takes actions to
determine if any Medicaid claims or services were paid inappropriately.
