Our efforts have resulted in increased provider performance levels, improved patient experiences and outcomes; higher efficiencies at healthcare facilities; and better surveillance capabilities for healthcare managers.
The SDA survey tracks patient satisfaction at Air Force military treatment facilities. SDA survey results are used to monitor and inform the appointment making process used by the Air Force.
The BUMED PSS provides the Navy with information used to improve healthcare delivery to Navy healthcare beneficiaries. IMS provides results through a secure online tool that offers BUMED providers and leadership with direct feedback from beneficiaries.
A new area of IMS data analytics and benchmarking growth is in advanced technologies and innovations. This emerging area of healthcare offers a pathway for new and viable ideas to improve the quality and delivery of healthcare. Research, analysis and prototyping of new solutions such as genomics, personalized medicine, and predictive analytics from aggregating complex data sets can geometrically broaden the definition of what is possible in operational medicine. As these solutions contine to advance, IMS is at the forefront of understanding and applying their full potential across the U.S. healthcare landscape.
IMS participates in teams comprised of government, academia, healthcare partners and corporations to conduct studies and pilot projects uniquely designed to advance the next generation of healthcare treatments and therapies. IMS provides advanced analytics and metrics that track the efficacy and outcomes of these forerunner medical procedures, and establish a baseline for future research and improvements.
